About me

I am an Executive Leadership Coach, trained through Accomplishment Coaching, and accredited by the International Coach Federation. I work with high performers to help them be better, lead more powerfully, and achieve even more.

My clients are ambitious leaders who are already successful, committed to their own growth, and aware that by partnering with a coach they can create more, faster than they can on their own. I work with people who want to play big, to go for transformation rather than incremental change, and who are willing and committed to discovering what's possible when they go beyond what's comfortable.

My coaching style is a potent mix of challenge, encouragement, empathy and humour. I also believe in being intentional - everywhere: reflecting on every aspect of how we show up, communicate, spend our time and build relationships in order to set ourselves up to be successful.

Prior to becoming a coach, I had a successful 15 year career in finance, in the City of London, and in management consulting. I have worked in both small companies and global multinational organisations. Most recently, I led the consulting practice in a specialist natural gas and LNG management consulting firm in London. It was through my own experience of coaching that I came to see its transformative potential, and took the step out of my former career to set up my own coaching business.

I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation, and certified personal effectiveness trainer with FranklinCovey. I graduated from the University of Cambridge, with an MA in Geography and an MBA from the Judge Business School. While at University I am proud to have raced for Cambridge in the University Boat Race.

I live in Brixton, south London. When I'm not coaching, I still love to stay active (though I'm retired from rowing these days!), and can usually be found out in the gym, working on my strongman (woman?) moves, or on the sofa working my way through a collection of books larger than I'll ever get round to reading.

Testimonials

"I worked with Sarah for nearly a year when I was feeling at a real crossroads and it was such a valuable and helpful experience. Sarah always put me at ease and I never felt judged – but equally, she didn’t shy from asking me difficult questions and really challenging me to think about things differently. I came away with techniques and tools to help me really focus on my goals and unblock the barriers preventing me from achieving them. It was an emotional but uplifting process, and I will be eternally grateful for Sarah’s support and encouragement."PA

"As a freelancer, I found it very hard to consider the ‘difficult questions’ of what the future would hold, other than more of the same - I simply didn’t feel I could go there. Without being critical or judgemental, Sarah helped me ask those questions of myself and to take steps in a new direction which I’d previously dismissed as impossible. I’d always thought of coaching as being too ‘fluffy’ for me, but I’m completely won over - I enjoyed the process and I’m delighted with where it’s got me." HS

"When I was seeking to make improvements in certain specific and general areas in my work and personal life, Sarah helped provide supportive objective guidance in my otherwise hectic life. She introduced me to tangible practices to focus on each week tailored to my circumstances and areas that I wanted to work on at the time. I still draw on these practices today and enjoy a contrastingly balanced and calmer life than I did a year ago!"JD

"Sarah was direct in challenging my limiting assumptions and blind spots, encouraged me to explore new contexts and invited me to declare what I really wanted for my life. I was given the opportunity to take personal responsibility for where I wanted to be and how I wanted to get there. I was also given the tools to truly recognise what I have to offer the world and the people I work with, infusing my work with my highest values and qualities. I now have a clear and inspirational vision of my future. A huge thank you to you, Sarah, for being such a powerful part of my journey." ES
